Dr. Erik Elfrink, D.C.

Dr. Erik's particular background and skills in chiropractic adjustment and spinal decompression therapy have prepared him to make an impact for the better in the lives of his patients. He began his career as an athletic trainer and continues to be certified in that field. His experience includes five years as lead athletic trainer for two Twin Cities high schools and two years as an assistant trainer with the Minnesota Timberwolves. In the course of working with young athletes, Erik was inspired by the results achieved by the chiropractors who helped with post-injury rehabilitation.

Erik went on to earn a doctor of chiropractic degree from Northwestern Health Sciences University in Bloomington, MN in 2006 and set up practice in partnership with another chiropractor in Eagan, MN in the fall of 2006. Three years later, the lure of the north led him and his wife, Krista, to relocate to Hibbing. Krista, who formerly was an occupational therapist at the Sister Kenny Institute in Minneapolis, now works as an occupational therapist at Fairview Range Medical Center.

Dr. Erik sees patients of all ages, newborn to geriatric. He uses the Gonstead Method of analysis and adjusting in order to be specific in the care of his patients. He is also a certified spinal decompression doctor. His goal is to get you well as soon as possible and keep you well.
